Refund Policy

Refund and Cancellation Policy

If the tour or any part of it cannot be conducted due to Force Majeure or Vis Majeure events, Journey Junction shall not be responsible for providing any refund. However, at its sole discretion, Journey Junction may consider refunds based on factors like the number of participants and the cancellation policies of suppliers such as hoteliers, transport operators, etc. The decision by Journey Junction regarding the quantum of refund shall be final.

Refund processing may take a minimum of 15 to 45 days.

No refund will be provided for any unused services including hotels, sightseeing, rides, cruises, meals, entrance fees, optional tours, or any other components of the tour for any reason whatsoever.

Refunds (if any) for amendments or cancellations of bookings made directly with Journey Junction will be paid directly to the client by NEFT, RTGS, crossed cheque, or by credit/debit card reversal, at Journey Junction’s discretion. These refunds typically take up to 45 days to process.

For any advance bookings cancelled according to the supplier’s booking policy, refunds will be credited back using the original mode of payment after deducting cancellation charges and any applicable bank charges. This refund cycle may take 15 to 45 days to reflect in the client’s account.

Clients also have the option to keep their refund amount as a credit certificate with Journey Junction, valid for use within 12 months from the date of issue.


Train Ticket Refunds (IRCTC Policy)

  • Train ticket cancellations and refund requests will be processed as per the Indian Railways IRCTC refund guidelines.
  • Refund amount depends on when the ticket is cancelled relative to the scheduled departure time and ticket type (e.g., confirmed, RAC, waitlisted).
  • Cancellation charges and other deductions as defined by IRCTC will apply.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking after deducting applicable cancellation fees.
  • Journey Junction facilitates train bookings but follows IRCTC’s terms for refunds and cancellations, which are subject to change as per railway rules.

Flight Ticket Refunds (Airline Policy)

  • Flight ticket refunds are governed by the airline policies under which the tickets are booked.
  • Refund conditions, cancellation fees, and timelines vary by airline and fare type (e.g., refundable, non-refundable, partially refundable).
  • Any airline-imposed penalties or deductions will be passed on to the client.
  • Refund processing timelines depend on the respective airline; typically ranging from 15 to 60 days.
  • Journey Junction processes flight ticket cancellations and will credit refunds to the original mode of payment as per airline norms.
  • Clients are advised to review airline terms at the time of booking for specific cancellation and refund policies.

Conditions of Travel

  • Clients must strictly follow the tour program. No refunds shall be issued if a client fails to join the group at the commencement, joins late, or leaves early from the tour.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to reach the starting point of the tour and register with the Journey Junction representative at the specified place, date, and time.
  • If a client or their accompanying family discontinues the tour due to illness, death, loss of travel documents, or any other reason, no refund claims for unutilized services will be entertained.
  • Clients not reaching the tour commencement point will be deemed “no-show” with 100% cancellation charges.
  • Use of pre-tour services, air tickets booked under offers, or part thereof without joining the main tour will be treated as “no-show” without refunds.
  • Journey Junction reserves the right to withdraw membership for disruptive clients without liability.
  • Liability of Journey Junction is limited to the total amount paid for the tour and excludes consequential losses.
  • Clients should procure travel insurance at their own cost.

Pricing and Legal Conditions

  • Prices are subject to change due to supplier costs, fuel surcharges, or governmental taxes before departure. Clients must pay additional charges before travel.
  • Legal claims must be filed within 7 days of tour completion.
  • Discounts or schemes may be withdrawn at Journey Junction’s discretion unless guaranteed otherwise.
